Turning Complex Ideas into Reliable Systems
Software Engineering, Product Thinking & Applied AI
Jonathan Muñoz Lucas
I have always been drawn to what holds things together, the choices that make a system clear, durable, and worth keeping. Working close to real problems taught me that software never lives apart from people, constraints, change, or time. I build with care for what should be simpler, stronger, and made to last.
Where I Can Help
-
For software that works, but not reliably enough. I help trace defects, understand root causes, reduce fragility, and make existing systems easier to trust, maintain, and improve.
-
For workflows that have outgrown spreadsheets, manual work, or disconnected tools. I design and build practical systems that bring structure to operations, data, and day to day decisions.
-
For repetitive, information heavy, or ambiguous processes that need more clarity and less manual effort. I build automations, integrations, and AI assisted tools focused on practical use, not novelty.
Software for the real world
Software does not begin in perfect conditions.
It begins with existing systems, unclear requirements, business rules, changing priorities, and people who need things to keep working. My first step is to understand what is already there, where it creates friction, and what needs to become clearer.
From there, I bring structure, scope, and careful implementation to software that has to hold up under real conditions.
